Five things people believe about erotic massage that are not true
Including the two misconceptions that stop people booking, and the one that gets them disappointed.

Some of these are harmless. Two of them stop people booking something they would have enjoyed, and one of them is why a small number of guests leave disappointed. All five are worth clearing up.
1. That it is a euphemism
It is not. An erotic massage is a massage — a licensed salon in the Czech Republic advertises masseuses and rents them rooms, and what is on the menu is what is on the menu. The reason our footer carries a line saying we do not offer sexual services is that it is legally required and factually true, not that it is a wink.
This matters practically: guests who arrive with the wrong expectation are the ones who leave unhappy, and the misunderstanding is entirely avoidable by reading the price list.
2. That it is only for men
Roughly a fifth of our bookings are from women or couples, and every treatment on the menu is available to them. The industry was historically built around male guests and a lot of salons still read that way, but that is a marketing failure rather than a fact about the service.
3. That the therapist is judging you
She is not, and this is the anxiety that keeps most first-time guests away. A therapist doing six sessions a week has met every body type, every level of nerves and every degree of inexperience, several times over. Nothing you do is going to be new to her. The single most common thing guests say afterwards is that they were nervous for no reason.
4. That longer is always better
It depends entirely on the treatment. Tantra genuinely needs ninety minutes to work. Nuru does not — sixty is right, and two hours of it is mostly two hours. Paying for length you do not need is the most common way to overspend here.
5. That the price will change at the door
This one is a real problem in the industry and the reason people ask. Some venues advertise a low headline price and add an entrance fee, a room fee or a service charge once you are inside. It is worth knowing that this happens, and worth checking a salon's published pricing carefully before you go.
