Tantra, nuru or body to body: the differences that actually matter

Three treatments people constantly confuse, separated on the four variables that decide which you want.

These three account for most bookings in Prague and most confusion about them. They are genuinely different, and the differences come down to four variables: what is on the skin, how much pressure there is, how fast it goes, and what the hour is organised around.

Tantra

Medium on oil, low on pressure, very slow, and organised around breathing. Tantra is the least obviously erotic of the three and the one guests most often call the most powerful. The technique deliberately spreads sensation through the whole body rather than concentrating it, and the opening twenty minutes are spent almost entirely on settling you down.

Book it if you are tired, stressed, sleeping badly, or if previous erotic massages have felt like a transaction. Do not book it in a thirty-minute slot; it will not work.

Nuru

Seaweed gel instead of oil, almost no pressure, medium pace, and organised around continuous contact. This is the one that feels physically unlike anything else — the absence of friction produces a weightless, covered sensation with no equivalent in a conventional massage.

Book it for the novelty, and book it on a table rather than a bed. Sixty minutes is right; ninety is not necessary.

Body to body

Oil, high pressure, medium pace, organised around full-body contact. This is the closest of the three to a conventional massage — oil grips, so the therapist can apply real force, and the session includes genuine physical work as well as sensuality.

Book it if you want to be worked on rather than floated. It is also the best of the three with two masseuses, because the coordination is visible.

Side by side

  • Most relaxing — tantra, by a wide margin.
  • Most novel — nuru. Nothing else feels like it.
  • Most physical — body to body. Real pressure, real work.
  • Best for a first visit — none of them; book the FOX massage, which blends all three.
  • Best as a duo — body to body.
  • Best value at ninety minutes or more — tantra.

The honest summary

If you want to feel something new, book nuru. If you want to feel worked on, book body to body. If you want to feel different the next day, book tantra — and give it ninety minutes.
