Tantra is the treatment people misunderstand most often. It is not a more intense version of an erotic massage; if anything it is a quieter one. The work is built around breathing, slow deliberate touch, and moving attention through the body rather than towards any single destination.
The practice draws on a tradition several centuries old, and the part that survives into a modern salon is the pacing. Your masseuse will spend real time on the opening — settling your breathing, working the back and limbs — before anything else happens. Guests who arrive in a hurry usually find this the hardest and most valuable part.
Book ninety minutes or two hours if you can. Tantra in thirty minutes is possible, but it is a different, smaller thing.
What to expect
A shower, then guided breathing to settle you. Slow full-body work follows, with attention moving deliberately through the body's energy centres. There is no rush and no fixed endpoint.
